yes , this is my problem , but 290 for a new one , and none in country , does anyone have any 2nd hand ones hanging around ? if not i may loctite 406 the wee hole , thoughts please .

Yeah what a drag, you could try make a patch out of a nitrile rubber glove, I had an old workmate that this worked for on his car.
