This be a gloat thread.
Woke up to sun beaming through the curtains and thought to my self, oh lawd is dat sum sunshine? Not too long after I get a message on MSN from gijoe1313 who's still recovering from some sort of asian bird flu, I made a plan to go get my helmet today but that fell through so, a ride it is!
Went to port waikato, what a bloody nice ride.. the sun was shining, the roads were dry, the roads were _empty_.
Some damn good corners up those ways, did a little toe scrape and after moving my feet up a bit so it wouldn't happen again, I did a little peg scrape! Woops!
So we headed up ......er.... somewhere in port waikato, but were met by miles and miles of heavy gravel, decided to turn around and rest at the local dairy for an Up n Go and an iceblock.
We also decided that it was a bloody nice place for a fishing spot, too, then started talking about a 250 ride + fishing. Retractable rod or hand line + riding to the Port would be awesome if you ask me! I love fishing, nothing better than riding and relaxing on a wharf !
So yeah, that's what I did today, so did gijoe1313, what did YOU do? Oh, you worked? Oh that's a shame, a damn shame.

Well it was a good day for a ride... zeocen has done a good job and explained it all proper like.
He just forgot to mention the 'tard cagers (usual par for the course), the incongruous sight of a lowered suspension hatchback driven by some of the local gurl-racers (made joke about banjos and six fingers :innocent:)
Scoffed down some ice-cream (Big Bikkie) and my favourite carbonated ginger beer product.
Enough talking... just a few pics.
Pic 1 : "Ooh, must remember to bring a fishing line next time!"
Pic 2 : "Don't eat the yellow snow!"
Pic 3 : "We have to leave now?"

gijoe. You got a new lid yet or are you still riding around with a compromised by a Waikato corner low side helmet?
No - don't answer that - I really would rather not know.
Glad you fellas had a good day.

Haha, I forgot about that car with the pair of local's, poor girls car barely made it up the hill without blowing up I think.
And yeah, idiot tailgators and such, but at least not on the roads that mattered !

I have old lids at home. We could take out the old lining, put Justin's head in it and then spray some of that expanding filler in. Once it sets we just cut out a hole for his face and voila! we have a helmet fit for a gijoe1313.
Don't try this at home...it's a joke....I take the piss.....a lot.....see some of my other posts as proof....

Yer gonna be making me the next lynching target! :eek5: My cabbage was meant to turn up... a week ago. Nada. Bupkiss. Zilch. Will be buying a new lid and knowing my luck, the cabbage will turn up exactly when I have  PM puhleeze!
Ah well, will be buying a white one so I can modify it to become my Boba Fett riding helmet when I get a Kawasaki.

Should do a KB sickie ride haha. No bins tho.. Might be a bit hard to explain the bruises to the boss when you're supposed to have been in bed sick.

I'm totally serious about a small group ride to go fishing though, that would be awesome. The temp was perfect outside today, a little windy but still all good.

Good work you two. Nice to know there are other bums out there as well. Rode Old tekuiti road - tekuiti- rangitoto - Otorohanga yesterday. Still, clear day awesome corners and some gravel sideroads for fun.
Just finished 3 hours relief teaching ($140 cleared) now off to coast with my rod attached. I have a telescopic rod I use for spinning for trout or Kawhai or to use as a bait catcher and a surf rod that I attach to the bike works fine. Sticks up like a flag. Trouble is no other unemployed people to ride with during the week :bye:

There is a time and ideal place when one must chase the dollar. Now is not that time. Now is the time to ride (fish, ski, dive, surf, golf) and ride we shall.
I just spent 6 months playing golf and riding my motorbike to fishing spots everywhere my GN could take me, throughly recommend some time out on the naughty seat.
Go on forget about the money, I know you want to. :shit:

Umm, probably getting paid too? gijoe is a teacher and I work afternoon/night shifts.
Good ride again today too, bloody marvelous weather! Pity it'll probably disappear in the weekend :(
I took a video log of the short journey before my memory card maxed out (had the video on the highest settings, woops!) It's being encoded on livevideo now, it wouldn't be very interesting chatter since I'm talking about the goings on of livevideo, but you'll get to see some great scenery just outside of manurewa!
