Anyone thinkin of comin to town for this?

If you haven't been to a concert at the "Bowl" then you really are missing something special, it's a pretty amazing venue. It's starting to get a lot of international recognition hence some huge acts coming. It's a natural amphitheatre in the shape of.......well u guessed it........a bowl. But the really cool thing is it has a lake between the stage and the crowd which of course always mid concert ends up having a dozen or so drunk nutters dancing around to the sweet beats :Punk:

There will only be 15,000 tickets sold & its the only NZ concert so if you are thinking of comin to town for it then act quick. Accommodation will be booked SOLID! as NP doesn't have heaps n heaps of beds for really big events.

One of my sisters owns two accommodation businesses but she's a tight ass so as much as I would like to offer a discounted KB'er rate, she doesn't ride bikes lol

I would offer a few spots at my place but I can't guarantee ill even be here due to work :brick:

But will update closer to the time, we've got plenty of lock up garage space for bikes etc :sunny:

Agree about the bowl, its an excellent venue.
But, i dont think I'll be bothering with Elton John, seen him twice before and both times I wasnt that impressed with the show.
Now, if we could Linkin Park at the bowl, Id be first in line.
