Hi ALL

I'm new here but have been sifting for a while, I have an exemption to ride a SV650S on my learners. Have posted details in the Exemption FAQ thread if anyone is interested.

My dad rides, and after all the bikes that flash by me while i'm parked on the northern goin to work (In particular a nice GSX-R:niceone:, havn't been able to catch wat size, its a K7 tho i think, and a nice red ducati :niceone: and a few others, good on you guys) decided i'd join the pack, so i'll be seeing you one day soon when i get some skills up....

Hi, welcome, welcome...

You can always come along to one of the Thusday night rides, or go straight to the pub Africa in Albany for the afterwards drinkies...it will give you a chance to meet some of the troups:Punk:

Maybe see you there, and in the meantime, have fun!

If skills are an issue - check out the Wed night mentoring too (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2007-8-15&e=1239&c=1). It's free and it's over your way...

How come you were so fortunate to get the exemption? Lucky you:Punk:. I'm guessing you're a tall fella.

Lots of folks to ride with our your way, Mentoring nights are a good start for meeting people too. Keep an eye out in Club 250 (lots of noobies there) and the events with 'learner friendly rides'.

Recommend Ride Right Ride Safe also - costs you $50 approx. www.rrrs.org.nz
There's one every third Sunday of the month out West Aucks I believe. Teaches you theory and practical about bikes, riding, hazards etc etc. Thoughly recommend. I wasn't confident riding my bike until I did this. It's run by Bronz (Bikers rights of NZ).

Welcome to KB!
