Gday all, well after a long hiatus (last visited 18th march 2004) for very good reason, the call has almost lured me back to biking.
I wanna get a 400, just a toy, something like a vfr400 or something that wont break the bank but is good fun at the same time.
so...
ideas?
anyone got a nice 400 sport bike they wanna let go cheap cheap?!!

Cheers

I am thinking of a 400 too. Can anybody help me with info and opinions on a mid 90s GSXR 400 and/or Yamaha 2001 xjr 400. A bit left of center of the usual choices of honda 400s, but lets hear what you know... cheers:yes:

Yeah Aiolos,
I have had a good look at that bike, but I wouldn't have the first clue about getting it running properly, plus it'll be minus the fairings which isn't cool....
looks nice though

www.suzukicycles.org has a great deal of info about all Suzukis. Not really any reviews but at least the numbers which is nice.

this (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=105224431) will be back on the market in a few weeks - it sold but then failed a warrant on brake discs so i gave the buyer the option to opt out if he wanted and he did

i've replaced all 3 discs and am in the process of reconditioning the calipers, (pistons were a bit tight) will get new seals and new pistons if needed, new pads on the rear and have replaced the clutch lever

will probably be around the 2k mark

edit: have got a new rear tyre for it too
