Thanx for the reminder, Andy.
Only problem is, it'll commit me to attending, and I'm an antisocial psycopathic grumpy old prick.

And your sig is a monty python Hoeellllly Graeeel (did I spell my scottish right?) quote right JR?

Hmmm... sorry to disappoint, but I just randomly changed my sig to that after posting about Mozart in the 'favourite albums' thread. It's the first line of the first part of the Requiem Mass. In fact, as I recall, the Holy Grail chant was the last stanza of the Dies Irae (second part), 'Pie Iesu Domine, dona ies requiem' (which, loosely translated, means "there are some who call me Tim").

So where do we park?Stop it! Your'e making me fe'el guilty! Ill' check the Wilson Gargre at luncheontime, and ark's about use of our locked gargre downstair's.
(Problem is, I' am feeling all grumpy and even more psychopathic than normal, if thats' pos'sible, so I do'nt want to go to you're s'tupid meeting).

And can I stop abusing the apostrophe now? It was fun for a while, but it's grating on my psychopathic pedantrist nerves....

OK, Bums! (Yeah, I'm still grumpy...)

I've checked a few things out.
Wilsons Carpark is (surprise, surprise) 7 day, 24 hour, TOWAWAY parking (incidentally, one of the ways they make a profit is contracts with towies, and an aggressive towing policy).
Youse bums can park youse motorbicycles in our nice, dry, secure gargre (sorry - it's not heated, except by aircon outlets), but only if I'm present (I'd need to be anyway, to let you in/out as it's swipe card access only.)
Ponsnobby Snooker Emporium / Den of Iniquity / University of Misspent Youth has a big sign on the front, "Bookings Recommended" (or was it "Bookings Essential"?) Did anyone think to do that? If not, feel free to phone 360 2356.

Update: It says "Booking Advised". :whocares:

Sorry Mr F/S for raising your stress levels, I am alright to just squeeze the scoot on the pavement or wherever really, but the kind offer of a carpark to rest up in/ do burnouts would be lovely.
P.S. only kidding about the burnouts, I'm too poor to spare the rubber :ride:

Shameful behaviour!! I only had to go past it twice before i spotted it! (how hard is it to find a numbered building in all honesty??)

8 of us I think: yokai, milky, drunken monkey, two smoker, 6chris6, paparazzi, kwaka kid and me.

neither FS OR FB turned up! of all the people with no excuses...
(and I dont want to hear excuses about the weather - it was dry enough for me to ride!)

Playing snooker's not compulsory, is it? Never learned to play - sign of a misspent youth...

Was intending to pop along but realized I have end of year graduation ceremony for my school tomorrow night. Next time.

The hardest part about snooker is learning the order or the balls... The rest is easy. Pool tables there too.....

To Whoever was asking, the hall is about 200m back of the Open Lat(t)e Cafe, on the corner by the third set of lights (from Krd down). Just after the hall is a turn into a parking area. It is on your left as you go down ponsonby Rd, between Williamson Ave and Richmond Rd (2nd and third sets of lights).

l'll start a betting pool on 'excuses FB will use to skip the JAFA monthly meet' next month. $2 buys in, we'll have a range of outrageous excuses, like:
'I couldn't find it"
or
"I got a paper cut on my finger and can't ride now"
or
"I was abducted by Aliens and they shoved a probe up my ass. Actually, it wasn't that bad. You should try it sometime"

Winner takes the pot, ties shared evenly between all those that picked the right answers.

Sorry FB, no offense intended = couldn't help myself :)

Start a new thread for one with the appropriate date and plenty of warning as apparently us jafas can't do it unless it's planned at least 2 weeks in advance :shifty:
Anyway I'll be there
