I'm not sure whether to count the last one, but there are some nice pop songs on it, one way or t'other.

I've spent the last decade meaning to buy The Final Cut, and never quite getting round to it. I really should.


Mate !!!! there is a great song there called "Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert" ... Starts with an F16 roaring over !! .... it absolutely gives war and it's meaningless persuit a real going over .... And one scary song is "Two Suns In The Sunset" .... could be the human race is run ....

I think I'd have trouble choosing, really. Just buy 'em all and be done w'it I say. But I personally couldn't live without the Immigrant Song, Black Dog, Stairway to Heaven, Trampled Underfoot or Kashmir.

And I shelled out for 'In Through the Out Door' a couple of months back, finally. It's good!

Amen to that! LZ III is ok but a bit hippyish, LZ 4 has been thrashed too much thanks to Stairway to Heavan, Physical Graffiti isn't too bad though.

Any one here heard of John Campbell ?? Cajun Bluesman !! Did 2 albums then died aged about 60 !! He does the best version of "When The Levee Breaks" that I have ever heard !! .. If you keep an eye out for the albums you won't regret buying them ... The first is "One Believer" and the second is "Howlin' Mercy" ...

Peter Gabriel’s 1st solo album was a self titled album.
As was his 2nd, & his 3rd, & his 4th.
Wallflower on the 4th was awesome.
Face melting is 3rd one & yes I agree the best.

Don’t buy ‘Up’ though, instead buy plays live

Stranglers Ratus Norvegicus has to be one of my fav albums (No more heros their next best).

Fresh fruit DKs is good, like the single Too Drunk to Fuck for a laugh, but only have it on Vinyl.

MSG ..... a german outfit worthy of being called true metal !! .... The Scorpians, even from their early stuff ... early Rush ..... Very early Gary Moore ....Alcatraz to a certain degree and most of all ..... anything by Deep Purple !! .... Try to find the version of "living for the city" by the Ian Gillan Band too .... great !!!

Got all those too, MSG and Scorpians are good.. but they didnt do the "thrash" thing. gary moore is one of my fav guitarists.. got the live album "We Want Moore" around somewhere. grew up with deep purple etc... my brother is 10 years older than me.

I'm not saying overcommercialised, just over thrashed, thanks to Stairway - not their best work in my opinion. I'm as guilty as anyone because my very old LP copy of LZ4 can barely be played from overuse, I haven't botherd replacing it with a CD copy although many of the tracks are on remasters anyway.
