damn sorry to hear the bike got totalled. twas a nice bike too
not much out there for that price in the 250 category. the only new-ish ones would be the GN250 or SX4 Scorpio. for most others at about $3000 it would be 15-20 years old (bandit250, hornet250, cbr250 the usual) which i dont think you would be too keen on
did you think to apply for an exemption? you would probably get it quite easily; although not sure you actually want more power at this stage...

I might actually apply for an extention but yeah dont really want more power lol,
I have seen a few nice bikes but yeah might need to save up more for a bit....

Unfortunately just looking at some bikes like Bandits, hornets, any naked sports and looking at any cruisers at a good price
Thanks though, :)

too many dings .... and its in napier...
Thanks though, :)
You might be being a bit fussy? Doubt you'll find much in the 250 range at that price that isn't 'less than perfect'.
And what's wrong with Napier?

So you want a 250 cruiser for $3000, with no dings...
Tui, aqnyone?

Not the best idea getting this bike, bigred is only on his learners and this is a 400cc bike, there is a reason why the law tells people on a learners to have a max cc rating of 250.

I am just trying to find a bike with not too many hassles...
And if it means i will have to wait till my bike riding career wil have to go on hold till my finances catch up
Ps: nothing wrong with napier just got no way of going down there or back...

Heheh, if somebody would pillion me to Napier I'd ride it back to Auckland for you. Or can you catch the train? Pay my train fare and you get one cheap delivery service
