Well 20ys with out an off so I have had a excellent run but all things must come to an end tho & today was my day ! 100k & lowsided the RSVR in the wet was a great lowside didn't even get a front slip warning just straight down bike held up blood well for the big slide . Stripped everything off that needed replacing so Happy to be here & that the bike didn't tumble roll . Was abit of Fun really apart from looking at my Baby all covered in mud & scratches . :Punk:

Sorry to see you had an off Sensei. Not good at the best of times. After seeing flame's 'Pril after her wee lay down on the track, I hope yours fared as well. Glad you are ok too.
I had a pretty good run with no bins in 12 years but had 2 in 2 months to make it up. :pinch:

Glad to hear you both survived.
Not nice when there is no warning and the next thing you know is that your sliding down the road.
You know what the cause was? Tyres?

Good to see you posting about it and still here in one piece. Good gears worth it's weight in gold :)
Shame about your bike mate, hope it's not too expensive to fix.
Gotta laugh at the people who tell you when your bike starts to slide you do this and you do that and you can save it. yeah right? It's all over in a split second, one second you are looking at the your exit or apex point and the next you are looking at the sky and the road sliding by underneath you.
There's no time to do a darned thing when she decides to let go at speed.

Shame Sensei but the good news is you are OK.
You might want to think about editing your post "xxxkph in the wet". That sort of loose lips talk could bite you in the bum at insurance time. I'm sure you would have been doing more like 99kph in those conditions.

Was a typo MD but thanks for the heads up , if it was any faster I wouldn't have walked away totally unhurt & the bike would have been Toast ! Cheers all for repys

Sorry to hear about the off Sensei, glad you're not badly hurt, although looking at a scratched and dirty priller can't have been painless even with the adrenalin racing round your system.
Good luck on the healing/repair front.

Good luck on the healing/repair front. Yeah I had to feel for him (I mean his machine) standing there looking @ the prevoiusly spotless machine all dirty & looking a wee bit worse for wear.Bloody lucky really, the bike & Sensei came off not too bad all things considered, is the forearm a wee bit sore today Sensei

Hey man. I'm glad to see that all the important things are good. I look forward to hearing more about your off once you've had a chance to unpack it a bit. I'm still suprisingly tentative over a year out from mine. Is your insurer coming to the party?

I know the feeling of havin an off after along period of staying on the bike. Sounds like you and the RSVR came off lughtly which is allways a great thing. I'd have to come down to Burwood Spinal Unit and biarch slap ya if you ended up doing what I did when I came off my MX bike bro. Hoping that the cost of repairs is not too high and if there is anything I can do to help just give me a holler. I guess those leathers will have to go on hold until you get the Aprillia sorted back to its former glory. Bloody good bike it is, I'm not sure wheich I enjoy the most. Looking at it or listening to it, I suspect its the latter as it sounds farking awesome. :innocent:

Oh well will wait to hear back about the parts I have asked to get some $$$ figures for & go from there when the Accesser come out to have alook . The old grapevine works fast here as Insurer knew about my off before I got there today at 10am thanks to someone phoning him . Better start looking for a new Aprilia me thinks

20 yrs, eh. Its a bugger, innit!
I had 38 yrs without seriously hurting a bike then ZAP - 2 write offs in a year!!!!
I didn't think they were going to write off the second one and was sorely pissed when they did! - doesn't take much these days......
Still - as long as you're in one piece, it has to be all good.

:devil2:Quickest naked lap of manfield wins the bike, a fruit-basket and a certificate of achievement? I'm wearing full leathers, you can go naked though (oh you mean our bikes), looks like i'd be @ a disadvantage as I see you have a race mule which means you probably know your way around the track. Why don't I name a piece of public road (be a closed road for 40mins,makes it safe & all that) & your on :devil2: & you can keep the fruit basket ! Should really get buy-in from Sensei first I spose !

Sensei wont need to know till it's all over. Surely, he's busy enough without having to worry about the minor details of disposal?
And don't be fooled into thinking I know my way around Manfield. I think there are at least 27 bikes in the Actrix Vic Club winter series F3 class that get around faster than me. The ultimate irony is that I'm probably even slower around there on my Tuono. More evidence that I really need the bits off Sensei's baby.
