im trying to pay for a recent ebay win, and have to have the items sent to a friend in the states, as the seller wouldnt ship outside the states. however, my country, new zealand, is being automatically added to the bottom of my elected american address. it is also replacing her name with mine.
paypal gives an option to edit the entire address except the country! how the hang am i meant to do it??
i want the items, and have over $200USD tied up in them.

this is whats coming up

tried it. now its pulling up the american address as the billing address. i managed to change the name, but the drop down to select a country didnt do anything, and then it was asking for a 10 digit valid ph number. wtf??

*smashes pc*

Send the seller a message explaining the situation and they will let you do the paypal transaction with the NZ address and then get them to actually send it where you want.

Like they sed, your Paypal address MUST match your currency and you can't change your Paypal country (you have to open a new account - I'm on my 3rd)

You can have loadsa different ship to addresses though. If you want to see a really stupid auction system have a look at Trademe.:innocent:

karma... i may have tits and a pussy, but i aint no lady.

ok, scracha, so i have to open a new paypal account? blimey! if i do that, with a new shipping address, will the bill still come to me? thats the main bit im worried about. only alternative i have is to paypal the money to my third person, and have them pay for it.
my paypal currency is set on usd, but the country is new zealand.

One solution for shipping internationally is to use a parcel forwarding company like Bongo International (www.bongous.com). They allow you to ship domestically to their warehouse and then they will forward it overseas. I have found that in most cases their rates are much lower than anything I can get from the carriers myself. Good luck!

I presume you got this fixed. Like I said in the PM, your Paypal account isn't directly linked to your Ebay account. You can use a kiwi Paypal account to pay for goods on a US Paypal deal.

still tryin to get it fixed. got an invoice for shipping of $22.50. paid it. few days earlier, id got an email saying the stuff had been shipped.

emailed yesterday, after reminding them off where the item was being shipped to, to check up and havent heard back. wont be buying from them again, thats for sure.
