It would be hard not to notice the new ProTwins class thats starting here but in the UK its been running for a while and is called MiniTwins. Looking at the two classes the regs are near as damm it the same if not identical.

I'm sure most of the Protwins guys here are well up to speed on the mods that can be done to the bikes and the little hints and tips be it an SV650, Ducati 800 or whatever else they are running but i thought some links may be helpful....

BMCRC (Bemsee club) (http://www.bemsee.co.uk/)...this is one of the three largest race clubs in the UK and the class started in the UK here. They normally run two full grids of minitwins with a cubman and national class.

Motoforum (http://www.motoforum.net/)...UK club wide forum that often has plenty of MiniTwin threads on it and may be useful for tech questions etc.

MiniTwin Engineering (http://www.minitwin-engineering.com/)...this company has done loads of work on various bikes and again might be a useful point of tech reference.

Minitwin forum Uk (http://www.minitwins.co.uk/)....for some reason not working at the mo but a good forum etc when it comes back.

SDC Performance (http://www.justcustombikes.com/SDC/SDC.htm)...these guys have built some of the best SV650's about and know all there is to know about racing them. Their bikes have won the main Minitwins title a few times as well as many races.

If i think of anymore i'll add them but maybe the links will help some...

LOL...I'm sure the lads that race in this coming class would hate it being called 'Mini' anything!!!

All the Protwin racers and others may also be interested in maybe starting an additional championship like Thunderbikes....

This class began last year in the UK and has a number of SV700's with different front ends etc running well in it alongside bikes as varied as 748's and old steel framed CBR600's....interesting ideas on what qualifies to race under the class rules. Check the rules and the website.....
