It's been a couple of years since I threw my K3 down the road, I've been commuting only on putt-putt bikes ever since. But my mate insisted on lending me his GSX-R1000K7 for a long weekend (good bloke, eh?). It's got the yoshi pipes and cams, god knows what horsepower it makes but the front wheel seems very light;)
I have to admit, on the way out to the Riverhead forest I was trying to get on it a bit but just didn't have the nerve. Couldn't stop thinking about the horrible violence and pain that was the result of my last fast ride. I think I'm ready to go back to the GN, pipe and slippers on Wednesday. Beautiful bike though.

Sounds like he needs more friends too, what is his phone number?

The gixxers certainly don't get any mental, but I do believe they get easier to ride, albeit not at the limit.
There must be a huge difference between one and your Ginny though... I noticed it going back to the RF900 after the last gixxer thou I rode.

Gets you to the Juhi quicker, good for those early starts and late finishes. I hope you did not get too used to it, back on the GN after a fun weekend.
See you thursday.

I thought the riding position was a little bit more extreme than my old K3s, but I am impressed by smooth torque at low revs. The mode button is pretty cool too. I still think the GN is the ultimate motorway filtering machine.

Yeah, just hope I can get through the next few days with no tickets. See ya Nev.
