naw, up in auckland. didnt catch his name. guy was racing to an appointment. cop seemed decent, gave him benefit of the doubt at having not seen the cop car, and has allowed him to ride home after hosp appt. ticket served, and disqualified for 28 days.

Was a bit :gob: that the cop said his name though... didn't think they'd do that...

That sort of thing happens a lot down here:yes:.

Ya never hear about it 'cos it wouldn't create a 37 page thread on KB.

Yep I thought that was very decent of the cop.
Dont know how people can call it revenue collecting, I don't think the $500 ticket would have covered the cost of issuing that ticket.

Yeah but only because most people have a story about how they (think they've) been hard done by with a copper.... but no-one has any story to add as to how a copper has gone out of his / her way to help them...:bleh:

And just so you know, I've never had ANY dealings with any police - good or bad...:innocent:

Thats right. Most people don't have an issue with Police untill their the offender.

Then that whole lack of accountability thing kicks in.

Oh, not quite no-one.

A few years ago when Stromfrau got stopped for doing something that caused an instant licence suspension, the cop not only drove her the 68km home, but he then drove me the68 km back to where she had left the vehicle so that I could drive it home. Well done Jape.

sunhuntin
15th August 2007, 21:52
course hed be pissed to see a family member of his breaking the law and risking their own lives in the process. if only more family members would take an active approach in the well being of their family
