Doesnt the venom in black widows seize all your muscles so you cant move?

Think about it... He cant move...starts getting eaten...now dead.

My god, that is absolutely disgusting!
I am not 'scared' of spiders etc, but I would not be encouraging hundreds of them to live freely in my house along side snakes and lizards etc.
Yeah, I do wonder if he was 'awake' when they started eating him... eww!!

Bloody nutters those Euros. Flew with a guy when I was in Switzerland who had a hobby similar. He was into snakes and was very proud of his Gabon Viper and a bloody big python. He had all sorts of other nasties and his hands were well scarred from the may bites he had recieved. He was one wierd guy that had to supply his pets with 200 rats and mice every day! He reckoned that he made a bit of money using them as movie extras and the likes.
Think I'll just stick with my pet cat (Mr Weasel), he catches his own rat and mouse.

I initially read that as 'horse', and wasn't sure which you'd prefer ... now I just don't understand (though I'm not sure if I want to).

I don't really understand the idea of 'pets' other than friendly things like dogs and cats and other things that are capable of recognising, trusting and respecting their owners. But then I don't know - maybe the snakes and spiders did recognise him, and maybe a cat would happily kill its owner if only it was big enough ...
