not quite a DIY emergency.

Well, I've been let down. A builder "mate" of mine has got half way through replacing the lining in my shower only to do a runner on me. Also other jobs he was expected to do are now obviously off his agenda.

Now I've got two left feet and neither of them can hold a hammer so I need someone to finish the job off, either as a perk or through the books, I don't really care.

I also need a painter who can come in after and finish it all off for me.

If you can help please PM me ASAP.

Cheers, from a smellier and smellier Welly biker.

I know this isn't helpful, but gee what a surprise - not.

I'm in the same boat. A year down the track and my front door still isn't finished.

Having said that, I might be able to rustle a contact up who will actually help. I'll call tomorrow.

GreySkills? (http://www.greyskills.co.nz/)

My landlord uses them for all sorts. Old school tradesmen that seem pretty reliable. The electrician we had come around was actually a TV producer, making ends meet replacing light switches.

I used a Grey Skills gardener. Once. He died of a heart attack. Haven't used them since.

Precisely what I said. He just sort of gurgled.
