I've just received my new bike (900SS) from Emoto and think it's worth a bit of public thank you for the service.

For those that don't know, Emoto is Christchurch based and (I think) deal in imported bikes from Japan, mostly european bikes from what I've seen.

Anywhoo, I bought the bike thru Trademe and due to a bit of luck got it at a very good price, however despite the low sale price Emoto have given me better then excellent service. :first:

The bike is better than descibed, ie, immaculate, it's been serviced, wof'ed and provided with an MR2A form which I converted into a rego plate without any hassles. Throughout the buying / shipping process Peter at Emoto has always responded promptly, helpfully and enthusiastically to all my email queries.

Emoto also provide a 48 hr warranty on bikes bought unseen, you get to ride the bike and have 48 hours to advise of any faults. They even have a local service agent (The bike Surgery) which I certainly would rate as a very good workshop.

Transport was via Biketranz and yet again they have provided top service, what more can you ask for?

In summary, I'm rapt and could not have asked for any more or better service.

Go emoto!!!:Punk:

I am in total agreeance with you on the service of Emoto and biketranz.

My monster turned up in immaculate condition, better than described by Peter.

A huge thumbs up to them...

Emoto offer a flat fee service of $200 - its a lot more than that normally.

Got 2 mates who have bought bikes through Emoto on Trademe, they couldnt be happier.

I got my RVF400 through him a couple of years back. I'm still happy with the service and the bike I got and would recommend buying a bike from eMoto to anyone.

As bane said, they have a $200 flat fee across the country.
Previous time I moved a bike was with Biketranz from New Plymouth to Auckland and that was about $250. Call them or look on the web, they are really great to deal with and the bikes are well looked after in transit.
