1984 Suzuki GSX550

4 cylinder, oil cooled.
Fully faired.
Bought off trademe for a mate as a fixer upper but unfortunately needs more than we have time for.
Bodywork and frame in excellent condition but engine will need a lot of work, probably best to source another engine or use this as a parts bike.
Was put away two years ago without the engine being preped and hence was locked when we got it, without any oil in the crankcase. Have CRCed the bores regularly and it will now turn in all gears.
Electrics also have some problems, seems to be an earthing problem that is as far as my knowledge goes. Clutch also doesn't seem to work.
This is a great looking bike and it is disappointing to not see it get on the road but someone with a lot more knowledge and time is needed.

I know it is worth very little but make me an offer that doesn't include beer :) Selling for $500 on TM but my mate will consider anything, needs to get out of the garage.
