anyone know who/how the biker was on george bolt drive outside the shell station at 7.30pm last night - rear ended by some cage driver. it was the same time as the serious head on at the other end of the bolt, but not associated to it. looked like a zxr400 or similar

anyone know who/how the biker was on george bolt drive outside the shell station at 7.30pm last night - rear ended by some cage driver. it was the same time as the serious head on at the other end of the bolt, but not associated to it. looked like a zxr400 or similarDidnt know them, but it took me 45 minutes to get from Ihmatao Road (at the farm) to my house, which normally takes about 7-10 minutes.......

hey marty, spoke to the medical crew who attended that one, minor injuires only, not so lucky the folks in the two car mva around the corner at the same time, two cut out with serious injuries.

one of the guys on my shift saw the serious one happen. he had to have lie down, as it was pretty horrific - front of the taxi was ripped off. we were trying tro remember how many fatals had been on the bolt involving taxis - an air nz engineer was one of them, and there have been acouple of others. are the cabbies just getting too tired? i had just fuelled up when the bike crash happened. the guy was in good gear, and talking on his phone when i went past. his bike was wrecked though.
