Who was the poor bugger busted at the bottom of the Haywards this morning.
Cops seem to be blitzing the bikes around this area this week.
Shame nice looking Suzuki though.....

Dunno, but they are having a serious blitz from Riverstone down to Avalon it seems - got pinged 3 times on that stretch yesterday morning and it was 5am! and then twice on the way back at 7pm.

You got 5 tickets in one day :shit: That has got to be some kind of record.

5 tickets in one day - most people learn their lesson after 3 or so.

I've noticed that the speeds are creeping up along SH2 again, so I guess it's time to watch out for the lads in blue.
There always seems to be a bit of blitz around the end of winter around the Wellington region, so just watch your speedo's boys and girls (not those speedos either, before any smart remarks are made).

I saw a guy this morning on a nice new yellow R1, with no rear number plate, lane split and pull right accross the front of a mufti cop I thought he was going to have to get his wallet out for sure. But nothing! Guess the cops dont need the money that badly then.

That'll be a CIB car probably, and they're not interested in traffic stuff. They use such rare tools as judgment and cerebral activity, unlike their HP brothers

As wild generalizations go, "there is always a cop between haywards and Belmont" is not that wild.
I'll only ever go over 110 down there when there are cars to hide behind.
Awesome place to do a speed test on the bike if you do a sweep first though.

hmmm. Curious. I haven't noticed any increase in police presence on SH2. I'll be on the lookout all the same.
That grassy knoll at Haywards is a pretty common place for them to sit, so we have no real excuse for getting ticketed there.

I've noticed alot of them sitting around the corner just after the haywards lights, south bound. Luckily my car has a radar detector, paid for its self already :niceone:
