Can someone please point me in the direction of a good, free program or website that I can use to download a Youtube video to my hard drive?

I need it for a presentation piece at work.

Someone posted a link in one of the forums recently, but I've forgotten the post.

Cheers,

Phil.

You can get an addon for Firefox called VideoDownloader, that's the one I use. I then use another program to convert the file to .avi as I get irritated having to use VLC - scrolling doesn't seem to work and not all the vids play properly.

Devious lot we are! No, what am I talking about? My username is a coincidence.... :shifty:

yep, been using videodownloader for quite a while now...

youtube vids are flash, so you can also get flashplayer (up to version 1.33 now I think). VLC kicks arse on most other stuff, but does have a weakness for flash vids
