anyone have any ideas of what i could use to cover the sides and make a box on the front of my motocross trailer with? i was going to use plywood but think it may get a bit heavy. i have the framework all built and the trailer has fixed sides so the covering will not be structural. also dont want it costing to much.

1.6mm galvanised sheet steel or mild steel sheeting and rust proof it.just drill framework and rivet it on with good sized rivets.

I did the same with my last trailer using galv sheet steel and it worked out great. The front box was the best part of the trailer as I put a lid on it to.
I am in the process of getting a box made up on my new tralier as I cant do without it now.

go talk to a sheet metal place, as they will sell you the sheets and it is easy to cut and fix to the frame.

Coloursteel is expensive. Plan glave steel will do, etch prime it before painting.

Plain coloursteel sheet would do perfectly.Just go to Dimond roofing or a similar sheetmetal shop that specialises in roofing. They should be able to cut some flat sheets for you to your dimensions.
They could even fold if necessary. At least you wont have to paint.Get it done in the colour you want.
