Another year and how it flies. A real stonker of a day outside, and plenty of bikes out doing it in it.
But still worth it to pop to this show, being a little quiet was ideal with the liddle kids in tow.
Great to see ya there Linuxrunner!!! Great pics.
All my pictures will be availible for viewing as soon as my signature says they are there.

Some mighty classics, and I would love to have just one in my garage to love.:baby:

Thanks man, it was not till I got home that I realised, I should not have used the setting I did, but fortunatly, if you do not enlarge shots to much, they hold ok.

If anyone's interested I took a shot of the Triumph Hurricane X-75 on the way through - unfortunately all my other pics came out like rubbish because of the poor lighting and the fact that they're all so tightly packed together.

Might make a good background if you're that way inclined.

Thanks for some excellent photo's. I took around 180 pics and going back for some more at 8am this morning so I can take some good shots before the crowd arrives.
The highlights for me was the 1937 Royal Enfield, The 1927 Flying Squirrel and of course the early Britten racing bike. Special note also the beautifully restored Norton Commando with all the racing parts.

I really enjoyed the show. Low key, no bullshit and relatively easy to get in to have a look at stuff.

Highlights for me: the Vincents (obviously) Ariel Square 4, very cool Matchless Silver Hawk (1930's narrow angle V4 with overhead valves.... there really is nothing new under the sun).

The best bike there (though I think it was roundly scorned by the purists) was a heavily modified Norton Commando. I heard someone sneeringly refer to it as the "Jap Norton" in that it had what looked like late model Yamaha or suzuki wheels on it, decent forks and shocks and wide tyres. It was beautifully done, and was black with gold pinstriping. Yeah baby I would make a place for that in the garage any day of the week.

I also need a bike that is black, with purple and white... very cool colour scheme (on a Scott Flying Squirrel)

Hell yeah, :) It also has a big bore kit, solid mounted motor ,Suzuki forks/wheels & one of my special fibreglass modded Commando tanks on it:Punk: and Rays bike goes like a scalded cat, while sounding glorious!! I SAY TO HELL WITH THE BLOODY PURISTS,
