Hi All,

I'm new to the forum so thought I would introduce myself. I haven't had a bike for a few years now but am hoping to buy one within the next month or two. I had a CBR250RR for 3 years and commuted on it between Wellington and the Hutt everyday for a year. Before that I had a retired Suzuki Impulse race bike, it was a shocker - regularly breaking down and stranding me in random places. It was a great introduction to motorcycling though and inspired me to get my license :-).

So I'm looking for a nice new sports bike, probably a litre v-twin but also looking at Fireblades, GSXRs etc

Hoping to take a Ducati for a test ride sometime soon.

Anyway, enough about me :-)

Hey thanks for the warm welcome everyone! The bike buying is going well. I took a Honda Firestorm for a ride a couple of weeks a go, I didn't really like it though. It was certainly a nice bike and all, just didn't ring my bell.

My budget seems to be creeping up though, those sneaky guys at TSS convinced me to take a SuperDuke out for a ride on Saturday - it was awesome. I will have to save for a while longer for one of those though!

Over the next couple of weeks I am hoping to take a Buell XB12R, Ducati 749/999 and a TL1000S for a ride. Then i'll be able to buy a bike! Woo hoo :-)
