What a great day! My mate on his Buell Useless and me on my 950 adventure.

Route....Rotorua, Arapuni, Otorohanga, Marakopa, Waikawau Beach, Mokau (whitebait fritter), Ohura, Taumaranui, Mokai, Atiamuri, Rotorua.

565 km total.

Half way down the coast from Marakopa we turned off down to Waikawau Beach. What a wonderful spot!

Rode through the beach access tunnel and stopped before getting onto the soft sand. Manhandled bikes around and rode out. Well worth a visit.
