Hi Fellow Bikers,

I have 'super play' in my sprocket carrier which turns out are rooted rubber bushings - so bad you can see the cracks in the picture.
You can turn the carrier quite a bit by hand and gear changes seem harsh.
The steel sleeves are not stuck to them but I'd guess they were once
Any one know a good NZ business I could try?

The size is 38 O.D 16mm Width and 16 I.D

Maybe tintop suspension experts?

Be good to get it sorted for the kiwi!

Cheers

Autolign will make Nolathane bushes to suit if you can provide a sample or you can buy it in a bar and machine it, I don't know what od that comes in though

They look very similar to the cush drive used in a RS125 maybe someone could measure those up for you

Nolathane is fun to machine, make sure you follow the tool and lathe speed and feed rate instructions pretty closely, or hilarity ensues

Ludowici Plastics can mold Urethane to the spacers and machine them to size.

I saw some cylindrical Lurethane off-cuts that may be similar to the size you want in their off-cut bin yesterday.

Try Ducati 916/748 cush rubbers.

They look nearly the same. Just take a sample.
Any Ducati Dealer should hold them in stock. Not cheap though.

Hi

Thanks for the imput Guys.
I went to a local suspension agent but they were a bit unsure what duro
rubber would be required and quoted $200.
Our fitter turner at work said he would make them if I got urethane rod,
40x300 rod cost $96 inc freight!!!!
So all done now (pic added) no slop!
Hopefully urethane has good shock absorbing requirements.

Will still check with Ducati as have samples now as 2 more Furano's around that may have the same drama.

Got new tyre (Diablo) so all ready for Kiwi.
