Nice footage of your KEYS. Not much of the road.
Why did you post that? Is suburban traffic interesting? Do you think you were riding particularly well or something?
I don't get it.

Mark,

if i'd been on either of those two pedestrian crossings with my kids, down in mission bay when you did that, i'd drag you off ya bike and throw the keys in the sea.

red mean stop and you're not meant to cross cross the pedestrian crossing whilst people are still on it, never mind weaving threw them...

Mark I appreciate you are trying to clean up your act, but I gotta agree with Boomer pulling stunts like that amongst public is not on...

Am not picking on you... just telling you straight you still got some way to go before people start respecting you... mate you are a talented rider, you just need to use the grey matter between you ears a bit more...

rant over...

i was only doing like 10-20kph around the pedestrians...and they were the last ones...not like i went through like in the middle of two groups of people....i waited for the last people to go past then went...and the arrow went green just as i went it was just out of cam view...those lights are weird...go green when pedestrians are told to cross....like wtf

So you going to the next Kiwibiker Track day?
With talent like that you'll have to do 200 down pit lane, just for Frosty's benefit!
Seriously you should keep it on the track or at the very least, the open country roads....

Horrible music. Ick. Especially that second one.

Heh, here's a dumb story about the Fast Crew.

There was a 50c fund raising concert here in the vastly superior city of Wellington, and the Fast Crew (Among many others) were to perform. But alas, the Wellington postage stamp/airport was closed due to weather. So the "Fast Crew" decided to drive down in their Fast Crew van.

They missed the concert. Their van driving was slow. So much for the Fast Crew.

//EDIT: Sorry, confused you with ZeroIndex! Ha, my bad ;P.
Oh, I thought you lost your licence because of the whole run-from-the-cops-but-binned-it thing, they let you ride so soon? I guess it must be old footage or something.

Anyways, can't say I condone the riding. But WTF would I know, I don't even have a bike ;P.

Yeah, I was a bit confused by that too, although it was funny... 1st vid, the camera angle sucked, 2nd was better, but yeah, what's up with riding "around" pedestrians? You should never ride "around" pedestrians... if they're not there, you ride straight on through, if they are there, stop until they aren't there, then ride straight on through...

You can carry on if the pedestrian is no longer in your lane - but they were in this case.

Drivers must give way to pedestrians on both sides of a pedestrian crossing, unless that crossing is divided by a raised traffic island.

I don't know if that means the walky bit has to be raised or not....

Nah, the walky bit doesn't have to be raised, it just needs to have a traffic island in the middle.

Bold move, posting evidence of several traffic offences on the internet, then boasting about it on a forum where the NZ Police can easily see it. There have been several high profile cases of people at least being warned after the the police viewed the evidence. But what do I know; it's your licence.

You can carry on if the pedestrian is no longer in your lane - but they were in this case.

if the crossing has a middle area then you may drive/ride across it if theres no one on your side of teh road or just about to step onto the crossing on your side.

if it doesn't have a central island, then you have to wait till it's clear and no ones waiting to cross (the last part none of you fukin kiwis take note of anyhows..)

still.. the fact remains before you so boringly chose to spout shit.. that Mark was being a danger to the public..full stop.. and deserves the smash. in fact im sure the coppers must have been watchin him hence the dangerous charges.

Well OK then !
Here's my attempt at slow, boring, inane newbie 250 videos (come on y'all, cheer up! Lots of anger on kb lately! :()

http://livevideo.com/zeocen/

If you actually do want to watch a crappy, slow newbie on a shitty 250 then I suggest starting at the "Random ride" series, that's where I get the cam sorted out properly, as well as audio.

Stop! Disclaimer!
I am just over a year of riding motorcycles, yep, I'm terrible, while half of me is sports, the other half is tours and that seems to be the dominant side. If you happen to see mistakes I do in the vids, speak up! Any thing to keep me living to keep on ridin'. I just thought since mark's video induced some angry comments, my comical riding may remind you big guns of when you were just starting out hehe. And maybe cheer this place up a little! I hope nobody takes offense (I have a big lack of vocabulary, so sometimes I swear a little too much in the vids).

Cheers :headbang:
