Heyas

Anyone done much with gearing them for more top end ?  ( '97 GSXR 1100 )

I got the bike changed to a 530 chain (from the US 532) and got new sprokets.  I went up one tooth on the front sprocket and left the back standard.

Apparently I can't do anything more on the sprokets as it will start hitting covers.

Any ideas ?  Is changing the gearbox the next step ?

Reasons for the change...  while cruising i'm forever trying to change into the non existant 6th gear.

Cheers

Why not just go down a couple of teeth on the rear? If youve got excel, Ive got a gearing program thats quite useful.

Apparently there will be some clearance problems... (according to fitter)..

I would be interested in having a looksie at that excel program.

Whats the best way to send it ?  Email ?  supab@hotmail.com
