I can think of a few replies to this quote!:dodge:
You out of action for how long Wasp?

Guy if I can get out for a wee squirt on the bike I will catch up with you somewhere along the way.
Be good to see the Hornet in action

I'd like to come Guy, but I've gotta hang around and wait for my socks and undies.

This morning I did the whole route:

Duckpond - Haywards Hill - Pautahanui - lap of the inlet - Paekakariki Hill - SH1 - back south then along Grays Road to Pautahanui - Haywards Hill - Duckpond.

Distance 82km
Duration 1hr 20minutes riding no stopping.

Allowing for coffee stop and ride back to lookout, duration should be around 2 to 3 hours.

I have updated the first post this thread and the calendar to include some options.

As there may be 250cc riders not keen to go up Paekakariki Hill and down to SH1, I have therefore provided options for them to consider. A photo stop is included. The ride will finish at the Mana Sandbar.

BuckBuck - what's your ETA at SH1 in Paekak? I might meet you at the servo there and ride down for coffee, then back home over the hill. If you could PM me your mobile number, I'll txt you closer to the time to say whether or not I'll be there. Thanks.

PM sent

So 1.30 -1.50. There may be some some 250 riders that may want to hang back and if so I will ride with them up to Battle Hill, where they may turn around and I will carry on.

Don't wait for me, if the main group riders ahead get down to SH1 well before me.
