My son Kurt (emagdnim) nearly killed 3 weeks ago when bowled off his bike then run over by a van, (suffering broken neck and other injuries) woke up after 5 days, got out of Critical care after two weeks, has now been moved to Rehab Plus in Carrington Rd, Pt Chev.
SINCERE THANKS EVERYBODY FOR THE SUPPORT FOR HIM AND WHOLE FAMILY.
He still has at least 3 months in neck traction but itching to get back on two wheels,(he snuck out of the ward and fired the turbo up for me this morning! and wanting to come out to Post Classic meet at Puke on Sunday too!)
Any kiwibiker wanting to call in for a few minutes and see him you are most welcome between about 9am and 8pm, he is in the General Ward, Room 1, just dont give him your keys!!! Like his old man the bugger will try to ride ANYTHING!

Mate he sent me a text a couple days back, he’s pretty keen to get back on a bike. Great news about the recovery.
