Draining fuel tank. What is the best way?

Katana 250 1991 etc.
Tank has leak.
want tank to not leak gas on floor until i can fix it so how to drain the tank?

go out and use the gas up that always works for me

Just take the tank off and drain out the filler.It will need to come off to be sealed anyway.

Well a few problems with that the smallest of them is i live in town and it is not rego at the moment. The big one is i kinda cant ride (yet).
