In a few weeks the Local Body Elections will be held. This is your chance to vote for those who are friendly to your values. :devil2:

In Central Otago, I ask that you vote for ME.

At this stage I should draw attention to the Auditor General's guidelines on local government election advertising...

Excellent. And good luck with your campaign. 13 October will be here in no time!

Wohoo Jantar for Mayor.

Then Prime Minister.

Then Bikes can be exempt of GST, road user charges and noise restrictions.

Aaron Slight and Casey Stoner can be major road reconstruction consultants

I could go on, but it starts by supporting a fellow rider trying to make a difference.

Wow I thought you were joking when you said during the Great KB Crash of 07 you filled out your application forms for local government!
I would vote for you but I live in another part of the country.
Good luck!

I'd be voting for Hubbard but I won't be back in time.

I don't want that Porn King as a Mayor.

What?? Why not?? Think of casual Friday at the council.... Would make paying the rates less of a pain.

Yes, Missed out by a long way, but still did better than I expected on my first attempt. My aim was to get more than 2000 votes and I'm over the 3000 mark.

One of the encumbants has gone, and is replaced by Gerry Echoff, an ex ACT MP. The one we really wanted to get rid of is still there, so I'll probably try again in three years time.

Bloody solid effort for your first go!

Good to see people putting their money where their mouth is. It seems to be pretty rare nowadays...

Well done Jantar, and better luck next time.

3600 people voted in Western Ward in the Hutt. 33%. Looks like David Ogden is Mayor again. If 66% of people in a crowd start bitching about his proposed 24% rates hike when it goes through (already the highest rated area in NZ) there will be cock punches and nipple tweaks all round.
