Hi all,thought i would tell you all about my GP experience today, well I was a few days ;ate but convinced my customer to take me out to the track for a look this morning, we left at 7am and about 1/2 hour later arrived at the track, we had to convince security to let us have a looky and once they knew i was a kiwi they had no problem,they love us here.
anyway the track is absolutely awesome to look at all new and shiny,unfortunetly there was nothing to see of the Gp apart from remnants of what must have been a great burn out on the front striaght i could only imagine who it might have been, fuck i wish i was a few days earlier oh well.
anyway Doha qatar is a neat place very nice people. on the bike front everyone is apparently keen on sports bikes now, they are just promoting the cbr1000rr and there are a few on the roads, personeally you would have to have rocks in your head to ride here drivers are unbelievably shocking,fender benders everywhere, 4-5 cops per roundabout, saw a cop on a round about this am with a freckin machine gun maybe thats what we need in NZ would be effective i would think, trouble is the guy looked like he wanted to use it,so no good for death or loosebruce, a wheelie would be sure to get a burst!!!
of to Iran tehran in a couple of hours i dont expect there to be many bikes there, have to go in with lots of USD as no visa or credit cards of any kind allowed as the us embargo is in place, should be intresting. then Bahrain Dubai then the scary one Jeddah in SA then Dubai then Home on Tuesday
