Yep 30 today.

For a laugh I though I'd go up to the arctic circle for a look on the DR. We're in the Russian naval city of Murmansk. The weather ain't too bad, just a bit nippy, like Christchurch on a cold winter's day.

Done 14,000 km's since leaving NZ on our Russian trip.

Things are going well with the bikes and we've had heaps of fun. Sorry that the website hasn't been updated for a while but internet here is very slow and expensive!

Better get moving, this internet joint closes soon!

Cheers,

Mark.

As PS I just thought I'd mention the tyres.

We're running TKC80's and we've got 7,500 km's out of the rear. Not bad considering luggage etc.

We couriered a set ahead to town called Krasnoryarsk.

Cheers.

Happy Birthday and glad to hear from you. It had all gone quiet on your trip diary on your website so I was wondering how you were going. Best wishes to Fraggle too. Good to hear the DR's are going well too.

I've been keeping a lazy eye on the site... sounds like you're having the mother of all adventure rides! Good work that man! Sounds like you're already having a happy Birthday...
