G'day folks. A Suzuki VL 250 here. My bike just wont idle at all and, when I give it a little throttle just to keep the engine going it sounds weird. When letting go of the throttle it slows down and sounds so weak then just dies sometimes giving a little "popping" or "ppfffttt" sound. I am pretty sure its either water or gunk in the carb. Does anyone know of any motorcycle mechanics on the North Shore (Glenfield) area that make house calls? as it wont even make it down the driveway. If you are a mechanic and you can help me please email me!!

Ring spectrum motorcycles. They may be able to pick it up.

You might want to check to see if the idle jet is blocked. Take the carb apart and blow the idle jet out with compressd air, don't stick anything down the little hole or you will enlarge it and stuff the jet up.
