i have stayed in backpackers and youth hostels many a times for varying degrees of time, allways been good but you get no peace!

I don't knopw about the one you are looking at, but if you really are needing to get out of where you are, then it may well met your needs short term till you find a better place.

It's got to be noisy though, it's on the corner of Greys Ave (Auckland Central Police Station) and Union Street/Hobson Street block (motorway access) so it'll be pretty noisy. There's a couple of places in Kingsland/Mt Eden Border that are probably better (I ride past them most nights). I'll look for names etc on the way past tomorrow if you like?

kingsland/Mt Eden=where I live part time anyway. most places expensive.
noisy? dont really care. AJ wants away. probably can't afford ymca even.

but look for names? would be appreciated in any case.
