It's actually a man size bike. No piss ants allowed.

Mebbe one day - my gixxer thou vs your limousine - Taupo track? Loser buys the other a full tank of gas....
Oh and to make it fair you need to be blindfolded and have one hand tied behind your back.

Heck, that is VERY nice...even though I'm not much of a Kwaka fan! :dodge:
But then again, you make poetry out of just about anything with your shots, Mr Big Dave!
Awesome pics...:2thumbsup

You'd lose and you cant afford the gas.
I can ride this thing faster than a ZX14.

My best time around the full track with the old chicane joining the old and new was 1:53. What's yours?
Oh and I'll borrow some money from mum for the gas, don't worry.

Nice shots - maybe another one for a test-ride at some point, you can always fix the muffler (tho you should need to at $24k!)

I don't see that it needs a lot of fixing - it fits the style of the bike to me.

To tell you the truth I wouldn't mind one of those. Although I'd probably buy a Blackbird if I was in the market since you can get one of them for about 13K and they are more bike than I need anyway.
Be a lot nicer to go touring on, something that shouldn't be done on a sports bike.
There's nothing wrong with the muffler. A bike that displays that much largeness needs something like that to make the package. It should also be a quiet bike, who wants to go deaf over a few days non-stop riding.

I had a good ole sitting session on one of those, when they first came out.
Now I am not a Kwaka enthusiast by birth but it just molded into my bony old frame and screamed, pic me, pic me!
I found it very persuasive and hard to resist even, almost went back for seconds.
They (Kwaka's) have managed a very slim rider fit for such a big bike, I was impressed.
I have to say Dave that in this case the Kwaka has done a lot for you pics! (lol) Cheers John.

Maybe because I'm an immigrant I see the place differently.
I live here by choice - and am thankful I can.

Yeah oldrider - It's still got a bit of a barge front - the bodywork is as wide as the handlebars - but it's very nimble.
I want to hate the handlebars - they just look so...something - but bugger me they work - they fit me, the hippie, kerry at motohaus - sm med lge - we all find them real comfy.

The Concours is on my list to ride. I must take a half-day off work and do just that!
Big Dave
6th September 2007, 21:27
Took it for a bit of an adventure this afternoon.
It does quite well on the dirt. None of the bodywork rattles and it's quite sure footed.
Power stands quite nicely too. Will hoist the front wheel without clutch work given a big enough bam.

Seriously, if that's an old mans bike then I'm a 60 year old stuck in a 25 year old body. Ever since I laid eyes on it months ago in a magazine, and a few weeks a go in East City, I've wanted it.
I wants.

Would depend on messers Kawasaki and their ambivalence towards the kilometerage.

Mebbe one day - my gixxer thou vs your limousine - Taupo track? Loser buys the other a full tank of gas....:shutup:No no, think laterally. You can borrow my DRZSM, and race him in an indoor carpark (With ramps) and I lay out the track with roadcones.
Full tank of gas will cost BD $10!

We have a ST1300 at the moment as well.
Ross took the ST - I had 'Connie' and Osborne took the pix.
Ross and I were having a defacto slow speed maneuvering contest as we were wheeling the tankers around in the procession of U turns that a magazine photo shoot is largely comprised of.
These things with their wide balance and upright ergos are quite easy to wheel about if you have the confidence to do so.
Easier than the racing crouch on a sprotsbike. Well for Big Dave types anyway. DRZ hmmm - can I use my Buell.
Could cost JSG $30.
