You can get a 240cc kit for them, but the one guy I know that did it said it wasn't worth the money

One of the nice things about dirt bike riding is that the amount of power isn't so important as how good your skill is and how much you can wind the throttle on and stay on the bike.
Witness some of the lap times the boys have been posting from the USA where at times MX2 laps quicker than MX1.
So the question could be - why bother?

dead right....the more power you have the harder work it is for sure!! and your throttle control has to be spot on!!!

My brother had an old air cooled KDX 200 bored out to a 250. It seemed pretty crazy power at the time, but you would be better off just upgrading the bike or put the money into things like suspension or tuning.

I had a air cooled KDX 250, they slogged really hard from the bottom end, but the KDX 200's were more agile and ridable.
