If you live near South auckland and are looking for little escapes after work/weekend - here a good one we found the other weekend.

Its jones rd-ardmore quarry road. Its fucking tight and twisty, perfect for you 250 guys but my TL got round okay.

The road isnt race track quality, so take it easy and get back in one peice.

What ever you do, dont go down the road marked with a cross, it turns to gravel over a blind crest.

I cant seem to post my attachment right now - I'll try later

Hey cool! Thanks for that :) I'll be checking that out for sure.

GRAVEL!?!?! *insane grin* That's temptation enough without somebody saying `whatever you do, don't go down that road'....

Brill :D

Been riding those roads for a while - they are good for letting off a bit of steam after a bad day - you NEED to focus though - that was the original route of Dover's South Auckland Thursday Night Ride. Fist time I rode Ardmore quarry road and Jones road was in the pitch black of night trying to keep up with a GSXR1000 and a Hornet 919.

Memorable.
