So Whos going? my normal ride isnt around and was wondering if anyone thats going has a spare spot on the trailer.Im happy to pay gas money etc. but use this thread to discuss the ride anyway.

Don't think thats happening dude. Pretty sure thats the ride that was transferred to two weekends ago, the trailride the week after the Dead Toad. It was an awesome ride if thats any consolation.
Yeah its definatley off. Check out Silver Bullet, it has a line through it.

The trial blazer is on. I would have liked to do that but its a long way down there and back as I found out doing the Ataimuri ride. There is the "scramble/mx2 at leightons farm on saturday, run by greg and the power adventure crew at Leightons farm. link; http://www.poweradventures.co.nz/EventCalendar.asp?id=150
Pity i'm rebuilding the lads 80 as we both would have liked to had a go on that. Anyway at least he will be learning something.

went to the trailblazer today, another awesome ride, had a 08 300 as a demo for the day, nice bike but I found the forks a little harsh.

KTM has also released a 125EXC, supposed to be a rival for the Gas Gas EC200 and the like. It would be one of those bikes that you have to rev the snot outta to get the most outta it.

Not a downgrade mate. European goodness. Ohlins shock, Mazhocci Forks, Nissin Brakes.
Much better then my old CRF.

Yeah all the 08 300's have the electric start, the power was very similar to my 03, it was geared down a bit from standard though so it was a little more agressive and took a little bit to get used to. The forks on my 03 are better though due to all the work i've had on them, so i'll will probably have to get the ones on the 08 re valved when i buy one.
