Technically a Darwin award only goes to someone who kills themself doing something moronic. But that is gold, cheers mate :D

No! There's more to it than that - Darwin awards are given for exceptional service to the gene pool. So, do something stupid, lose your wedding tackle in the process (but don't die) and you can still be a Darwin nominee. I don't know what the rules are around children, however.
