Bit of a prob this morning. A rag/towel found it's way into the chain and consequently the chain guard is naffed:argh:
Has anyone had any probs with WOF's with a non-standard chain guard??
Cheers for any answers.

i think it IS a wof thing, so yeah time for a new one :S they can be expensive.
as far as non standerd goes, just wack one on there they don't care what brand it is.

Yeah it is a WOF requirement. I once made one out of some aluminium angle, and there was no worries getting a warrant.

MY old XR250 didn't have a chain guard (I took it off to clean it after a session at Muriwai, and lost the bolts) and that went through a three WOFs without issue.

I couldn't find any reference to a chain guard, so I guess you don't need one then.
