20 teams - 6 weeks - and we already know that only 4 or 5 teams 'could' win it.

Wake me up in a month.

I can't understand the surprise that Argentina rolled the French. After all the team has only two players who play in the home (Amateur) competition. The rest are all overseas based professional players, many of whom play week in week out against the very French players they were up against today.

Add to that Argentina has beaten France 4 times out of the last 5 and the "upset" was always on the cards.

Of course, this now makes it very likely that NZ will face a wounded France in the quarterfinals now - never a good scenario.

The argies must've put the frogs off their game by invading Guyana or sommat. They did that to England too in the football a coupla decades ago!

I do - I watched it live, back before the English game became as cynical and 'simulated'.

Of course this makes God a coked out cheat - which makes more sense than some explanations I've heard.

It's all in the spirit of a fair go to have a crack at the cup, what would a tournament be without those other 15 or 16 teams :)

And as shown by the Argentines, upsets aren't looming too far from the head of any team weather it's AB's or Auzzies.

Who upset the AB's back in 1999?
Who upset the AB's back in 2003?

Next logical question:

Who upset the AB's in 2007?

Umm well your pick..........? Mine would be hopefully noone.
