Hi,
Can anyone tell me which terminal is +ve and which is -ve?
Does it even matter?
The horn isn't marked, and the picture on the box doesn't seem to match.
Thanks,

Mine was marked, it was just hard to see, right up by the base of the terminals.

Did just have a REALLY good look and still can't find anything. Sorry.

I just wiredit up and it went.
Then reversed the wiring and it still went with the same volume.

Just checked, and my multimeter shows no path from either terminal to the mounting bolt, so yeah, probably doesn't matter and I should stop worrying.

Thanks NordieBoy and paturoa*,
Got the job done - and no sparks come out of the bike when I test the horn.
(Now sounds more like a truck and less like a mobility scooter.)
Managed to scrape some paint off 1cm of an edge of a fairing - pulling it off over the subframe was bloody hard (for me). Couldn't find the magic angle. Glad I didn't have to take it right off the bike, cos I don't know how to undo the headlight wires. (Could see connectors for the indicators but not the lights.)
Might have to re-do the plug at one end of one of the extensions I made up, as I didn't like the way the spade connector got bent (do these come in right angles?) but should manage without fairing removal next time.
Cheers,
* and Warlock, Jim2 and TSS who did Jim2's horn (I copied their mounting idea.)
