Gets variable length intake trumpets (from R1) and a few other changes but keeps its good looks (fortunately).

Cool. They didn't go with the current trend to make them ugly, ie k7 & CBR

ooohhhhhh the flame job yellow one!!!!!

Hrm. Still not really a fan of it's looks. I think the stock exhaust looks shit (ie. Suzuki pulled it off much tidier...)

I need to get my variable intake trumpets fixed.

I'm sorry trumpets? I thought you wanted your bike fixed.

Yes, I do, I mean the intake trumpets on my bike.

Intake trumpets?

Yes intake trumpets.

What seems to be wrong with them?

Well they're not varying.

Oh.

Can you fix them?

Erm.

So, ill leave it hear and pick it up later?

Sure....

 the R6 is so good looking. Looking at the pics of the '07 and '08 side by side it just looks a little more refined but there's no major changes. Love the Yellow with flames paint job.

Can'think of much you could do to improve the looks of the '07 R6 so I'm glad Yammie didn't munge it.

Looking forward to the '08 supersprot shootouts.

Looks awesome. Would be nice to see some dyno figures and take one for a thrash, clearly. But the idea, at least, I'm hugely in love with. Right, off to make some money then :(

Is there any reason why bikes don't come from the factory with 'tail tidy' type rear ends? Some countries don't allow it?

Euro regs dictate that the rear guards must go partway down covering the rear tyre.
Hense the long skinny rear guards - kinda like a supermodel wearing a G-string as to not be considered porn

Damn! they both look hot! It would be so hard to choose between the yellow flamed one and the black.

There looks to be only subtle variations in the construction of the fairings, and a couple of small tweaks to the shape of various components fairing wise.

I like!

lol, fool. I'm going for the Euro colours, the white/red/black is much smarter this time around, and will be an easy change valencia 2006 colours!

I think they should have kept the tail as all-white rather than having that black bit, but IMO the Red/white/black looks pretty smart, as does the Blue.

Maybe you should cut your losses and get the R125 instead of an R6 bro (see second pic). If you ride it fast enough no one will know the difference!

It looks little different form 06/07 model. The Yamaha designers are getting lazy like Honda's. Still looks cool though.
