A set of Metzeler MEZ4 road tyres 120/60 17 and 160/60 17 with 700 kms (running in) of usage before I switched to pirelli SCs. $150 the set.

Used front pirelli SC 120/70 17 done about 2000 kms $30

Bearing in mind I am so gentle with my bikes....no heavy acceleration or braking whether upright or leaned over I'm surprised that I managed to scrub off the release compound :D

Blu is the whole - blame the tools not the workman sort - so once he crashes - he sells the tyres!!

I think he should give them as charity to KK.......he sure as hell needs them

Nope, none of these tyres have been crashed or trashed....hmmm maybe I should put them on the SV.

DUDE IM ACTUALLY SERIOUS FOR ONCE, i think i can nearly afford them!!!! and the ZXR is ment to have a 150 on rear but fuck that, im a hard man and i already ride with a 160 on rear (more common!) so yeah im keen as i think hey, i better sell a few bikes to make the cash tho :P

Well pick my jaw up off the ground....KK is actually looking to ride on tyres that were manufactured this decade.....I never thought I'd live to see.  :P

yus.. question is.. should i put them on my racebike? then the lowtread tyres on racebike on the ZXR? or put them on hte ZXR and get better tyres for racebike?

Once they are on his bike - can someone take a picture and send it to me - I won't believe it until I see it!!  I wanna make sure he doesn't decide to 'store' them until his other wear through

Knowing KK he will mix the sets up and put them on backwards - j/k KK

KK the tyres are off my 2002 SV650 K2. I used them when I ran the bike in from new prior to racing. I removed them because last winters SV650 class ran pirelli supercorsas as a control tyre. I kept them in case I decided to use the SV on the road, but now I've decided to keep it as a racebike they are just taking up space.
