Duckpond – Fairway Drive Avalon
[Join on route:Mangaroa Hill Road just before overhead bridge approx. 11.35am]
A cruisie ride over three hills:
SH2 to Maoribank turning right at traffic lights immediately before Caltex Rimutex, then immediate left on to Mangaroa Hill Road.
Circuit Mangaroa Hill to Maymorn and along to Te Marua south down SH2, back over Mangaroa Hill then south through Mangaroa Valley and then right at intersection Mangaoa Valley Road and Whitemans Valley Road, over Wallaceville Hill.
Bottom of Wallaceville Hill left onto Alexander Road along onto Messines Ave, left into Somme Road – continue through to Silverstream shops roundabout left and continue up and left onto Blue Mountains Road, follow right back to Mangaoa Valley Road and Whitemans Valley Road intersection. Right into Mangaroa Valley Road heading back to Mangaroa Hill down to SH2 traffic lights right and stop at Rimutex.
Subway Café at Caltex: Roast Beef Roll take away. SH2 to Rimutaka Hill. Coffee take out.
