Owners Manual thing says mix 50/50 water with coolant.
Says use soft water not hard water. It says i can also use distilled water, Is that the same as boiled water?
Cheers

No, not unless you boil it and catch the steam and cool it i.e. distill it.
I've never used anything other than plain cold tap water myself.

I've only ever just got the stuff that you pour straight in.
Contact Barty, he can hook you up with some good elf stuff.

Distilled is essentially (or maybe exactly :argue:) the same as the water from dehumidifiers. A shit load of them around so someone might be nice and save it for you eh.
Boiled is concentrated as the water is boiled off and the shit is left behind
I am sure some others will provide more on this

Yep I agree dehumidifier water is a good idea. I've used rain water quite a few times as well. I've spent many years racing 2 strokes (karts) and never seen any corrosion from tap water either.

I believe 'hard water' is high lime content, exactly what you don't need latching onto your internal alloy. It is the green stuff you see building up on the inside of the electric jug, you want it see it build up inside hot water cylinders.
