or up.. either way
I'm looking for cars, bikes etc etc to do a personal photo shoot.
I'm a real keen amateur, trying to go more pro. I've got some gear and I wanna use it. So for 10 bucks, you get 10 shots or so. How's that? Already lined up a couple of nice bikes, and a couple of classic US muscle cars, just need some more stuff.. That, or tell someone you know, who might like a few shots of their ride, be it whatever. The 10 bucks goes to the gear and fuel for the genie and getting it all there etc.
First shoot, be a dark moody one. Under cover of a carpark or warehouse, still to be picked. So suggestions around Auckland would be welcomed. Be early October.
Second shoot would be out in the country, on the twisty roads, the odd action/scenic shot. Dependent on how the first one goes, but probably early December.
All venues, times and dates will be disclosed nearer the time to those interested, via email/pm.
If you're seriously interested, then flick me a message with where you are, and what you've got. Also if there's any special considerations or ideas you may have.
As much as I'd wanna shoot everyone and everything, it might get busy, so at the mo, I'm thinking of the more 'one of a kind' or real nice machines. No offense, but if it isn't too wow, then it might not get shot. Say anyway, who knows. Or something different, get a bunch of bikes and may be shoot that, like a shed load of CBR250s etc. Dunno, just suggest away and who knows..

$10 for 10 shots. Cool. See you at Ruapuna on the 30th?
Seriously you should have a few takers for that. Good move.

I'm using the empty cylinders as pen holders except #3 and #4 which are being used as muffin/baking cases

Would you like the hottie provided for you? Does she have to talk to you? Would you be prepared to keep your mouth shut if a hottie were supplied?

bugjuice, Im a professional photographer. work full time at an ad agency at present.
pm me if you want to.
also, sorry to say,you may be being a bit to nice to people and harming the industry you want to join. unless your crap, in which case your just harming the industry.
do it well for 2 or 3 people for fuck all, then if others want shots after seeing your work charge an acceptable rate.
dont de-value the industry by under-selling, dont bring it down by charging for work if its not up to standard.
If you need any technical advice or whatever I am happy to help.

that wasn't my intention.. I just want to take pics, and need the practice, so i thought it'd be a bit of an incentive to motivate someone to get to me, so i could practice on some nice vehicles, there's no intention of harm at all! I kinda guessed that because it's 'cheap', then they aren't going to be full pro shots. I may rethink all this tho, since i might ask specific people and spend more time with it, instead of half an hour of dicking around. And just wanted to us it as a base to build up a portfolio of work too. As much as I'd love to be in the industry and I love photography, i have no idea how I'd be able to get into it and make a living, so I hadn't really thought I'd be on the same level.
I will pm you tho
appologies to those who think the same, wasn't intended
