This is GREAT... I LOVE this story....

More power to them I say! Certainly the key to happiness is having an all consuming passion for something (like motorcycles I guess)...

Many I bet that was a FUN wedding but what would you bring as a gift?

Cheers

Excellent stuff.

Now that's a wedding. Good on them. Hope they don't get divorced.

Nah - just 3 years in the tower followed by a discrete beheading....

Yeah - good on them. A day to remember.

Musn't lose sight of the fact that the marriage is more important than the wedding though. I had a very small subdued wedding. Compact and bijou. But the marriage is great!

Absolutely - we had a very small family do ourselves but the event not important - it's the sheer effort and madness of the whole thing - these folks are historical recreation nutters and living the dream... ya gotta love that...

Bloody good on them, would have loved to have been a guest.
Re-enactors are mad at the best of times, but this does go more than most, well done.

Hmm. When my daughter was planning her wedding I suggested that perhaps the guys in the bridal party should go naked. 'Why dad?" she asked. I replied "Because then everyone will know who the 'best man' really is"

I wonder what happened to the chastity belt. And who has the key..

Sounds like they had a grand melee.

I read someplace they were a myth anyway. Like a lot of that stuff it was more an invention of european middle class fascination with knights in shining armour and an age of chivaly that never was....
