Welcome to the nuthouse, Adam. We lived in Taupo from '80-'90, five years at Wairakei then in town. Still got friends there, beautiful place, but too cold in Winter for the Missus these days!
Some fantastic biking roads down your way and there're are few KB'rs there too. Guess they'll introduce themselves.

And when your bones were much younger, too! LOL!!
We loved Taupo and like to visit in the Summer. We haven't been down in Winter for a while, though. We used to come down regularly to go up the mountain. Last Summer we cruised through and stayed with friends and went out on their boat.

You could be. My son is also 193cm and he also bought a RG150, but found he was to tall for it, and has since bought a Hyosung GT250R and it is a much better fit for him. Much more compatable etc.
Check it out before you decide.
